After the Royal Ceremony of Phra Buddha Dhammakaya Thep Mongkol at Wat Pak Nam on Feb.5th, two gold leaf Bronze Buddha Statue with a total height of 100cm was placed at Wat Pak Nam again at the end of the religious celebration ceremony on Feb.10th.
Different from the Giant 65m high Golden Spray Paint Bronze Buddha Statue, these two Gilded Bronze Statues were fabricated by traditional Bronze Cast Crafts, by which silicon bronze material with more than 95% content of copper. Their surfaces are treated with gold leaf, the most special of the gilding technique this time is we distinguished the surface without cassock by a unique treatment on the gold leaf to reach a feeling of matte or frosting.
Finally, these two gold leaf Statues allow the public to place pure gold leaves on them, which is an important Thai traditional practice of worshiping the Buddha.
